Festival-scale comms. No cell. No wifi. No problem.

When the cell towers give up,
your festival keeps talking.

Music festivals and raves cover hundreds of acres. The moment tens of thousands of phones pull at once, cell service collapses. Loxation runs phone-to-phone over Bluetooth mesh — and our new Loxation Mesh Routers extend that mesh across the entire venue. Attendees find their crew. Organizers reach the crowd. End-to-end encrypted. Independent of the carriers.

For organizers and venues:
Loxation works directly with festival organizers, music venues, and sports venues to deploy mesh-based attendee comms.

The Loxation Mesh Router. Hardened Android. BLE on one side, WiFi mesh backbone on the other. The festival owns the network.

Cell towers collapse. Your night doesn't have to.

Multi-day festivals, raves, marathons, championship games — any event that gathers tens of thousands of people in one place hits the same wall: the carrier network falls over right when people need it most.

Cell saturation

Towers built for everyday density buckle when 40,000+ phones try to upload, stream, and call at once. Bars drop. Texts queue for hours. Calls don't connect.

The lost-friend problem

Your crew splits up at the second stage. You can't text them. You can't call. You spend the headliner walking circles instead of dancing.

Ops & safety blind spots

Organizers can't push set-time changes, weather alerts, lost-and-found, or medical broadcasts to the crowd. Security teams lose situational awareness exactly when they need it most.

How Loxation works at festival scale.

One system, two sides. Attendees get a way to find each other and keep their crew connected. Organizers and venues get a comms backbone they own.

For attendees

Open the app at the gate. You're on the mesh. Your phone doesn't need cell service.

Find your crew
See who from your group is on the site, and roughly where they are — without GPS, without a working cell tower.
Group chat that just works
Mesh-routed messages hop phone-to-phone, extended by Loxation Mesh Routers across the venue. End-to-end encrypted with MLS.
Festival announcements
Set-time updates, weather alerts, stage changes, last-call shuttles — pushed to every phone on the mesh.
Private by default
No phone numbers exchanged. Identifiers rotate. When you leave the site, you leave the mesh.

For organizers & venues

Loxation works directly with festival producers, music venues, and sports venues to design and deploy the mesh.

Reach the entire crowd
Push announcements, schedule changes, and safety alerts to every attendee on the mesh — independent of the carriers.
Site-wide coverage
Loxation Mesh Routers turn your campground, fields, parking, and stages into one continuous mesh.
Medical & security channels
Dedicated broadcast channels for ops, medical, and security teams — keep the crowd informed without crossing public radio traffic.
Plug-and-play deployment
We map the site with you, drop routers during load-in, and keep the mesh running through last set. Buy outright or rent per event.

The Loxation Mesh Router.

Our new Blemesh-WiFi router extends the range of a BLE mesh by orders of magnitude. Drop them across the site and the mesh stops being limited by phone-to-phone hops — it spans hundreds of acres.

A live router in the field
Two BLE peers connected, 3,327 packets bridged. Phone → BLE → router-to-router WiFi → BLE → phone.

What it does

Extends BLE mesh range venue-wide
Routers form a WiFi backbone between BLE pockets so messages reach across the site, not just the next 30 meters.
No client wifi or cell required
Attendee phones never connect to the routers as wifi clients. They keep talking BLE — the routers are infrastructure, not access points.
End-to-end encrypted in transit
Messages are encrypted on the sending phone (MLS for groups, Noise for 1:1). Routers carry ciphertext only — they cannot read traffic.
Built on a hardened Android device
A specific Android handset is the router. Off-the-shelf mobile silicon, custom firmware — no exotic hardware, easy to source, easy to repair.
4,500–5,000 mAh, 8–10 hour runtime
USB-C power. Run all day on a single charge, plug into house power for continuous operation, or hot-swap units on a rotation for multi-day festivals.
Use cases: music festivals · raves · marathons & endurance events · championship games & stadium events · conventions · disaster comms.

From load-in to last set.

Loxation handles the deployment with your production team. Here's what the day-of looks like.

1
Map the site We walk the venue with your production team. Stages, camp, parking, ops tents — we plan router placement for full coverage.
2
Drop the routers Routers go up during load-in — trusses, light poles, ops tents. They link to each other automatically and form the mesh.
3
Attendees open the app At the gate or in the wristband flow. The app joins the mesh automatically. No login, no carrier, no friction.
4
Broadcast & monitor Your ops team pushes announcements, set-time updates, and safety alerts. Medical and security get their own channels.
Everyday use

Beyond the festival: real people in the room.

The same mesh and the same app work at smaller scale every day — bars, car meets, neighborhood block parties, conferences. Open Loxation, see who's here, signal interest, build a group around the people who keep showing up. No mesh routers needed for a room-sized space — your phones do it themselves.

Open it. See who's here. Connect.

Loxation is built for real life — fast, simple, and consent-first. Start by discovering who's in the room, then build something bigger.

1
Show up Go to a bar, event, meetup, campus hang — anywhere social.
2
See who's here Open Loxation. Bluetooth discovers real people in the same room — no GPS, no profiles, just presence.
3
Signal & connect Wave, favorite, nudge — without walking across the room. Then meet for real.
4
Build your crew Keep showing up with the same people? Start a group. Get a homepage. Post to the neighborhood. See how groups work ↓

Discovery is the engine.

Everything starts with seeing who's in the room. Whether you're meeting someone new or growing a group, Loxation makes that moment visible — using Bluetooth, not algorithms.

Bluetooth finds who's nearby

No GPS required. Loxation uses Bluetooth to discover real people in the same room — not across town, not on the internet. Right here, right now.

Signal interest, then meet

Wave, nudge, or favorite someone before you walk over. No awkward cold approach — just a signal that says "I'm here too."

Invite them to your group

Met someone great at the show? At the car meet? Invite them to join your group on the spot. That's how crews actually grow — in person, not through algorithms.

Presence without surveillance Bluetooth identifiers rotate constantly — no one can track you. You're discoverable only in the moment, only to people in the same room. When you leave, you disappear. How the privacy works →

You’re in control.

Exciting doesn’t have to mean risky. Loxation is designed so you decide what happens next.

No fake profiles

Real people, real devices. Less noise. Fewer bad surprises.

No phone numbers, no emails, no passwords

Connect without handing out your personal contact info. Your choice.

Disappear anytime

Block, report, go invisible — instantly. No awkward fallout.

Nothing follows you home.

No tracking. No bots.

Only real people. No data harvesting, no surveillance.

When messaging in the same room (Bluetooth) nothing leaves the room.

End-to-end encrypted

Your messages (and video) use MLS encryption — international standard successor protocol to Signal. We can't read them even if we wanted to. Device-based identity means no server ever holds your credentials.

Free for you. Always.

Loxation is free for individuals. We make money from venue partnerships — not your data. You are never the product.

Designed to respect your night When you leave a venue, Loxation automatically stops sharing your presence. No manual toggle, no forgetting to turn it off. Nothing follows you home. Learn why it's different →

Every group has an organizer. This is for you.

You're the one who picks the venue, sends the text, and makes sure people actually show up. Loxation gives you real tools for that job.

Live music crews

You know every band in town. See who's at the show tonight, invite new fans to join your crew on the spot, and give your group its own page where upcoming shows and reviews live.

Car meets & shows

You organize the Saturday cruise-ins. When someone new rolls up, they're already discoverable in Loxation — invite them into your group on the spot. Your group's page becomes the go-to for meetup details and photos.

Neighborhood groups

Block parties, park cleanups, the Tuesday evening walk. See neighbors nearby, invite them to join, and let your group's page become the neighborhood bulletin board.

What you get as an organizer

See who's in the room
Bluetooth discovers everyone nearby. See your group members arrive in real time — and spot potential new members in the same room.
Add members on the spot
Someone vibing at the same show? At the car meet for the first time? Invite them to join your group right there — no phone numbers needed.
Your group's own web page
Every group can have its own public page. Public posts from members appear on it and on community.loxation.com — geolocated so nearby people discover you.
Know when your people arrive
Get notified when group members show up. Answer questions in-app. Track who keeps coming back.
You already do the hard part — getting people to show up.
Loxation handles the rest.
